This long exile was nearing its end, the longing of her heart was drawing heaven to her.
"How good God is when He shows Himself to a soul!
No, in dying I could never be afraid of Him, I love Him too much.
Everything that comes to me from Him I shall welcome with gratitude."
But it was not death that Mother Mary of the Passion saw approaching,
it was love that was sweeping down upon her soul like a vulture to carry it off,
enraptured, caught up in joy, in a breath of purity and stainless truth.1
Mary of the Passion went home to Our Father on 15th November 1904.
