Mystery of a vocation
Mystery of God’s ways...
There are no two paths that are similar, nor a recipe for life.

But A VOCATION is always the initiative of God.
God speaks to me through His desire during prayer before the Tabernacle, in the Bible, before the beauty of nature, through the people I meet on my path, every day through everything that happens...
He speaks to me in a voice that is scarcely audible
or very strongly like the wind...
Inviting me
to follow Him, to dwell in his love...

Each of us has a unique mission in this world. This is our vocation. Only we can fulfil it. No one else can do what I’m supposed to do. Christ’s mission was to reveal the Father to us all, to make visible the invisible face of God. This, He did through His life, His teaching, His ministry, and finally through His death! I am sent into this world, I am given life, in order that I may continue the mission of Christ – to proclaim the Fatherhood and Motherhood of God and that all of us are brothers and sisters.
Jesus says, “ I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.” Hence I need to walk this Way, know this Truth, and live this Life. My vocation therefore implies that I share freely with others the discovery I have made, the treasure I have unearthed, the riches I have inherited.  All of  us are called to make this discovery, to walk this road, to possess this treasure. We may not be the Sun, but each of us can be the little mud lamp dispelling the darkness in our corner of this world, alleviating the darkness of  pain and suffering around us.
Let’s then take this vocation of ours seriously, and continue our journey of  discovery, of sharing the good news, of finding the treasure, and of leading others to this TREASURE-GOD, THE GROUND OF OUR BEING!

Each of us has a unique mission in this world. This is our vocation. Only we can fulfil it.
