A
MESSAGE for all:
I ask the Lord for the grace to make known to the world purity of
intention
which consists in doing everything for the love of God,
even the
most ordinary things.
A young
girl of the beginning of the century, living in the Marches region of
Italy, opens herself out to the action of the Spirit who inspires her to
consecrate herself to God. She becomes a Franciscan Missionary of Mary, a
way of life which is both contemplative and active.
She
was born and grew up in a very simple milieu. The Lord has worked
“marvels” for her in this little way in which she progressed: the way
of minority in which her whole person radiated the love of God.
To
our world, in search of power and wealth, she says:
"I
ask the Lord for the grace to make known to the world purity of intention"
And
these “little things” that she accomplished became instruments of
evangelisation in Italy, then in China...
Jesus
was the centre of her life.
Through
the Eucharistic life she grew in her self-offering; "adoring Christ
Crucified who gave his life for the world, she came to the knowledge
of Christ which surpasses all knowledge" and learned to give her life
for her brothers and sisters. |
