On the
feast of St. Luke, we pray for the four doctors among us: Mary
Therese Chambers,
British in Scotland, Maria Isabel Arbide, Spanish, in Ethiopia, Mathilde Georgette Kimanda
Awezay, Congolese in Congo- Lubumbashi, Françoise Pécresse,
Secretary General, at Grottaferrata, all of whom are devoted not
only to the Institute, but also to all the people of God.
We
don’t forget either, our archivist, Sr. Alma Broggi, as well as
our numerous artists.
The
Capitulars have a list of priorities, chosen yesterday , and in
their groups they will discern the “lines of action” to be
taken, It is a short and realistic list. Sr. Helen,
moderator, has asked them to write concrete, realistic, actions
to be taken over the next 6 years and which can be evaluated.
Coming
from different languages, cultures and countries, all the lines
of action are discussed in Assembly since we would like
consensus on the outcome. |
