After a lovely free
Sunday, we are renewed and ready
for another week of work. Even
our liturgy team has returned
refreshed after their days
of rest.
In her morning greeting, Sr.
Sue, Superior General,
congratulated our Indian sisters,
for their first canonized saint,
Sr. Alfonsa of the Immaculate
Conception (Anna Muttathupadathu, of the
Franciscan Clarists
Congregation). The ceremony took
place yesterday, under the sunny
skies at St. Peter’s.
Among the announcements, Sr.
Rosanna Marin tells us she is
going to give us the web address

so that we may get to know
the site.
The editing team: Srs. Mary
Motte, Teresa Cachot and
Anne-Marie Saget, presents us
with a compilation of the work
done so far in Chapter to help
us in this next phase called “A
gathering of ideas”, they insist
that this is not a draft of
the Chapter document to come,
but an instrument for our work.
The sisters are invited to do
some personal reflection this
morning and in groups this
afternoon. They need to make
sure that the report is accurate and
complete. In Assembly their
comments and reactions are
welcome, and perhaps a light
will appear to facilitate a
consensus about the Spiritual
Reference of the Chapter.
The sharings of today are
carried in our hearts during the
Eucharist.
