Last evening, the Capitulars received a new document, the synthesis made from two documents: “Realities and challenges according to the working paper” and “Report of  the Superior General”. This time, following the same process, the sisters will choose their priorities concerning “Our  relations with the sisters and the community”. 

During the Liturgy this morning, feast of Our Lady of Mercy (Mercedes). We prayed for all the sisters named Mercedes: Mercedes Nunez Sànchez, provincial of Colombia, Ecuador; Sr. Varkey Mercy Parathazham, delegate of Chennai. India; Sr. Ma. Mercedes Saenz, text translator (English/ Spanish). 

The methodology for today’s  work is exactly the same as yesterday’s.  The chapter members return at 3:00 pm  to share their convictions followed by another in- depth exchange.

In the evening, two projects of solidarity, decided on by the Union of Superiors General are presented by Sr. Gloria Carmen Eamiguel, having had a two year experience in Liberia, and Sr. Evelyn Delicata and Sr. Valsa Joseph, supporting the Sudan project.
