We brought our intentions to Morning
Prayer: The gift of life to Sr. Narelle
(Provincial of the Middle East
province); the general elections in
Angola and the work of the new Steering
Committee.
Today the chapter members study the
first objective: the evaluation of the
life of the Institute since 2002.
The different steps to achieve this
objective are:
The journey of the provinces
The statistics
The Superior General’s Report
The General Bursar’s Report
The General Bureaux Reports
Today, the sisters reflect on the
journey of the provinces.
The provincial and her delegate(s) meet
first to look at their own challenges.
They choose three in order of priority
and bring these to the different
continental groups.
Then these continental groups search
together and draw out five trends and
challenges, as well as differences, and
classify them in order of priority.
At 3.30 p.m., in General Assembly: the
Chapter members bring together their
group reports and offer clarifications
where necessary.
It must be noticed that this sharing
from provinces and continents will help
to discern the trends and challenges for
the whole Institute, together with the
statistics, finances and different
reports.
At the Eucharistic celebration in the
three linguistic chapels, we thank the
Lord for the journey made in all the
provinces. |
