In
Assembly, Sister Lydia Umipig (moderator), invites us to reflect
on the Plan and the Calendar of the Chapter in view of approving
it. After some questions of clarification, the chapter members
are asked to vote and sister Christiane, Superior General and
President, announces the happy result.
The
Plan includes four objectives:
-
the evaluation of the past six years,
-
a study on the theme of the Chapter,
-
the pronouncement on the possible modifications of certain
articles of the Constitutions,
-
The election of the Superior General and her Councillors.
The
process for approving the calendar took place in the same way;
it was voted on and accepted.
In
view of the election of the Steering Committee, the three
languages groups discern and decide which sisters will form part
of it.
